Dr. Dilip Boralkar at EMC

We at EMC had the honour of hosting Dr Dilip Boralkar, former Member Secretary of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Dr Boralkar shared insights on how regulators like Pollution Control Boards should expand their role beyond enforcement to function as facilitators, advocating for a “carrot and stick” approach. He recounted several initiatives during his tenure at MPCB.

The CSO Roundtable on Supply Chain Sustainability, held on June 7, 2024, at IIT Bombay, was a great success. This roundtable was a joint effort between Polymerupdate, Environmental Management Centre Pvt Ltd (EMC), and IIT Bombay Research Hub for Green Energy and Sustainability (GESH IITB) (GESH) under the Polymerupdate’s RACE Conferences.
Our Managing Director, Dr Prasad Modak, moderated the roundtable, which was attended by 10 leading CSOs representing a wide section of manufacturing and service industries with their supply chains spanning across the world.
