Rajani Chavan

Rajani is an EHS professional with over 15 years of experience of providing EHS, Social & Sustainability services to reputed multinational clients in 8 countries.

After completing post-graduation in Environmental Pollution Control Technology, Rajani had a 7-year stint in water and wastewater treatment solutions services. Since 2005, she has been associated with global EHS consulting firms, delivering projects for clients in diverse sectors.

Rajani has successfully led multidisciplinary project technical teams on EHS due-diligence assessments for acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, EHS compliance audits, supply chain audits and conducted supplier/contractor trainings. She is experienced in application of international standards including World Bank, US EPA, and Dutch Remediation standards. She has also evaluated project compliance with Equator Principles and IFC industry-specific guidelines for funded industrial and infrastructure projects.

Rajani is well-versed with the management systems approach for EHS and social programs. She is an IRCA certified ISO 14001 – Lead Auditor and SA 8000 Basic Auditor. She is also a trained ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Auditor with proven expertise in development, implementation, auditing, consulting, training, and maintenance of quality management systems in manufacturing and service companies.
