Highlights of some of the training assignments of EMC  Asian Productivity Organization (APO), Tokyo contracted EMC to develop training materials on Green Productivity to assist the National Productivity Organizations, industries and professionals. The training materials were developed over one year consisting PowerPoint presentations, case studies and reading resources. The materials were tested at multi-country training workshops in Penang and Singapore. These materials today form core publications of APO under the Green Productivity programme and are extensively used in various parts of the World.
 Asian Society for Environmental Protection, Bangkok contracted EMC to develop a training manual for implementation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System in textile industries. The manual uses Project Case Work approach that is based on group work, real life case study with "driver assignments" and key reading resources to facilitate problem solving. The Manual was tested in 5 countries in South East Asia prior to finalization.
 United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Vienna commissioned Dr Prasad Modak and team at EMC to develop Guidance and Training Manuals for the National Cleaner Production Centres. The manuals contain step by step guidance, PowerPoint presentations, Case studies and a directory of resources. The manuals were developed by conducting training of directors of NCPCs in Berlin over 5 days and finalized after testing and incorporating suggestions by the participants. Both these Manuals can be accessed from UNEP DTIE's website and are used by cleaner production professionals worldwide.
 Ministry of Environment, Government of Mauritius contracted EMC to conduct hands-on training on Industrial Source Air Quality Modeling. The Training Programme consisted of lectures and work sessions on computers. EMC developed extensive set of PowerPoint presentations, a resources CD-ROM and a user friendly data entry interface in MS Excel to assist officials at the Ministry of Environment.
