Environmental Management Centre (EMC), under its non-profit initiative ECOnnection Hub, had organized Training Seminars on Urban Air Quality Management since December, 2005 in an effort to bring in the various stakeholders who can contribute in improving the ambient air quality.

EMC has hosted six Basic Urban Air Quality Management (BUAQM) Training Seminars in partnership with Air Quality Management Cell (AQMC) of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). This Seminar series was supported by the World Bank Institute (WBI) was being held for the first time in India.
