Fixing Rationale for Charging for Treatment of Biomedical Waste in Maharashtra |

Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) has contracted EMC to develop a rationale for charging for biomedical waste treatment at common facilities in Maharahstra. The assignment entails assessment of economics of existing common biomedical waste treatment facilities, developing a basis for charging to ensure fair charging as well as viability of the facilities and arrive at a common rationale following consultation with generators and operators.
