EMC has been retained by COWE consultants, Denmark to conduct hands on training program on Air Quality Modelling for the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) in Cairo. EPA's SCREEN and AERMOD/GIS will be the models that will be extensively used for the purpose of training. A case study of a cement plan near Cairo will be developed for the group work sesssions. Training will last for five days.

In addition to training on air quality modelliing, a two days session will be conducted on Anlayses and Interpretation of Environmental Data. AnalyseIt software will be used for the purpose of practice and demonstration.

Rahul Datar of EMC will be in Cairo between January 24 to February 4 to conduct these training sessions.
