Jhajjar Power LId (JPL. a 100% subsidiary of CLP India), is developing a 1320MW coal fired power plant in District Jhajjar, awarded through competitive bidding. The first unit of this plant is slated for commissioning by Dec 2011 and second by April 2012.EMC was contracted as an independant consultant for monitoring, review & remedial action on Environmental issues and review the adequacy that the project complies with requirement of Equator Principles and as per the Environmental Impact Assessment Report.
